  • What a sweet bike. . . any tips on what to look for when I buy one?

  • @TheStoicRoadWarrior I would just say keep an eye out for how clean and original it is..... this one was just a random acquisition. It happens sometimes when you shop on eBay...

  • i heard cb350f and cb400f are slow as hell...is this true?

  • @banderse they dont accelerate very fast (its a 30 years old and its only 400cc) but it will corner as fast as you have the courage for. I have embarrassed sport bike guys on this bike

  • @eatpasta ya well i was just debating because some buddy got a cb550 and was saying there is no point in buying a cb350 or cb400 because they are so damn slow apparently

  • @banderse Well, its all relative. if you're used to a modern literbike, yes, its going to be slow. But lets be honest, bikes are more about how they make you feel. We can have pissing contests all day about how fast our bikes are but it all boils down to who is the better rider. I can smoke a lot of guys on R1's with thing in the canyons.... they just cant ride.

  • @banderse for the record... my cb350 twin will beat 90% of all cars off the line up to 60mph easy.... if you wanted too... with very few mods.... top end it's slow as hell, but is 100 mph really that slow when theres nothing between you and the pavement besides your helmet and skin?

  • The tensioner bolt is a shit, usually it is broken(it is in the engine front) look it and test that work well, is a very important thing.

    Sorry for me English.

  • @HIELOROJO: What about it?

  • @TheStoicRoadWarrior

    Very important!!! TENSIONER BOLT!!!

  • The 400F is light years ahead of the 350F, so think about that as well when making that final decision if you are going to go with either mentioned. See, for me these bikes are way more fun than a 1000cc bike only because of the fact that you can run them so much harder while staying closer to reason....of course talking about street riding. On the track it would be a whole different story. It's actually quite amazing how well these bikes handle in the turns and how easy they are to own.
