David Jones always loved Calypso but while she betrayed him he hates her too. But he just cant forget her and he remembers how her and him were when they were together before he cuts out his heart.
He thinks about what the others say to him (Will, Jack). He's a cruel man now and punishes the men who don't obey to him or try to fool him (like Jack).And as much as he hates Calypso he loves her and he cant take her out of his mind until his last breath.
