And lets not forget Paul Williams for the beautiful lyrics of this song, a simple yet heartfelt song.

The simplicity of this song blows me away, and as of right now I am about to cry. No powerful voice, no loud music, just a frog, a tender voice, and a banjo.

What more can you ask for?

Thank you Jim Henson for showing us the rainbow connection. (sniff)

I wish that people would see, that what they are following when they follow most celebrities, are ACTORS. they are not creators, they do on write what they say... they just have a better face than real people who actually create things. this just knocks that home fore me.

When I hear of celebrities dying, it doesn't really affect me. However, the feeling of sadness completely overwhelmed me when he died suddenly in 1990 (felt like crying), because he had left such an impression on me.

All of the lives he had touched: teaching kids (he made learning fun!), the Muppets. An entire generation grew up on his characters.

just watched the Muppet Christmas Carol the other day, and part of my heart broke again thinking about how his life was snuffed out too early.

This and gonzo's "I'm going to go back there someday" song. Two masterpieces.
