We got a chance to play with Tobii's eye-tracking "Rex" hardware / software for Windows 8 at CES 2013, and while it is a bit pricey at $995 for the dev kit, the Rex can significantly speed up navigation. To find out what the Rex can really do, check out the full coverage at the link below:

This tech will change everything if it is ready in a few years, even more than touch tech a few years ago. For example it could track for each mail or facebook messages your emotions and also if you read it fast, twice or skipped it.

Right? You'd think they'd pick the space bar or return key.

How's about playing your favorite games like angry birds or fruit ninja, to train your eyes? I wonder if this could be a way of fixing lazy eyes because it forces you to excersie eye muscles.

This tech should be embedded in devices like Oculus Rift, imagine how you would be able to recreate how we actually see if the Oculus knows where you're looking at.

There is what is referred to as a "tracking box" in front of the eye tracker where it is able to pick up your eyes. It is typically located at ~65 cm (25") from the tracker (by design, as this is a comfortable distance to a screen) and varies in size depending on the tracker.

I say wireless 3-button clicker is the way to go for this. Looks good, though why no drawing demo? that would show how accurate it really is!
