Students and professors from Concordia University in Montreal, QC, have recorded a video, called "Education makes it better," to advocate against the bullying of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer (LGBTQ) youth. Concordia has become the first Quebec university to record a YouTube stand against LGBTQ bullying. By advocating for education to create a more tolerant society, the video builds on the It Gets Better Project that is a new social movement that's spawned over 5,000 videos to end homophobia and bullying in 2010. "Education makes it better" features Concordia students Brian Tuck and Alan Wong; Concordia professors Gilbert Émond and Elizabeth Meyer; LGBTQ supporter and Concordia professor Deborah Dysart-Gale.
