  • Are you planning on doing the PC Engine version of this game as well?

  • @fruitbane The PC-Engine version is already online. Just search on our channel or check our websites. ;)

  • gotta hand it to Sega, they made this look way better. Not to mention Ghostbusters.

  • @cubex55 I went back and looked and you're right. I even watched that one! I almost think I like that version a little better, too. I've watched too many of these things for my sanity.

  • This is like Insector X for the NES. :-)

  • kujira is japanese for whale... whale man... gabe newell made this game!

  • @Chaniyth my honest first thoughts on this were that is was a tengen release or something... im total blown away (still, hours later) that it was on everything else!

i still hate this game with a passion, so many bad memorys of complete frustration ... and that was before i knew what masterbation was!!!!

  • @Chaniyth its so true the bit about how master system ruled in uk and europe, most kids i knew had a sms for ages before we all discovered that NES games were normaly better (in playability, not graphics and sound)

sega, although probably having the better console hardware wise did not have the libruary that nintendo had, in the end everyone moved to nes then snes ..

for 8 bit, sega had the better console, for 16 bit, snes wins as it was just a beast :D

  • @HardcoreTVgabber

It was also on the PC-Engine (TurboGrafx-16) which was superior graphically and sound wise to both the NES and the Master System versions.

Speaking of Master System, it was superior in nearly everyway to the NES. Nintendo of America's crap business tactics back then and Sega's lack of marketing know-how is what killed the Master System here in the USA, but it thrived plentiful in Europe, UK, Japan, and Brazil. Alot of US Gamegear games were SMS ports from those countries.

  • its crazy how much better the master system version looked and sounded!
