This whistle is lovely to play. It is very cute and very easy to reach the top notes, does not clog at all, is really well-balanced in both octaves, has such a unique sweet chiff when articulated and sounds beautifully sweet ! Dr. Guido Gonzato makes and sells them himself ( www.ggwhistles.com ). He lives in Verona, Italy.
This tune is called `Crested Hens´.

  • Great playing! The whistle sounds really good too. Such a sweet sound and not breathy at all. I like it!

  • @MrFair Thank you for watching !

  • This whistle sounds really very sweat. I'm in temptation to buy one too, but must be a bit reserved cause my dog just had a cancer operation. And that cost a bit.

  • @jannisotto Oh, Jannis, I am sorry to hear about your dog. I do hope he gets well soon ! Look, this whistle is really sweet and lovely to play. You will have no trouble at all playing the upper notes. So, when you feel OK to get one for yourself, do not hesitate to get it. I wish I had found this whistle much earlier !

  • Aha! That's one of my favorite tunes! I finally ordered a high D and a low D from Guido. I'm getting the high D with the extra low C. I really should have ordered them long ago. I have his low G, and it's just superb. To my ear, it sounds just a bit sweeter than the Parks Ghost. Very nice!

  • @ubizmo It does sound much sweeter than the Parks Ghost. I would say that they complement each other.

  • @jannisotto If you're not afraid of exeprimenting a bit, the maker of this whistle has a tutorial on how to make these whistles by yourself on his website. Since they are made out of pretty very cheap materials (but obviously sound amazing, as OCAMarcis videos shows ;) ), you'll propably be able to make one yourself for under 10€. Search for "low tech whistle" on Google - the first link is the right one! :)

  • @ubizmo Thank you, ubizmo !

  • @agocska Thanks ! They are made of light gray PVC, used in Italy for electrical conduits.

  • Nice song. I'll check these whitles. Are they made of plastic?
