I miss the old style end credits. That was the only way to learn the cast names, other than the soap magazines back before everyone had a web site. Early 90's Days brings back memories.

Awee, well Charita Bauer got the same treatment over at Guiding Light from 1952-1984 (when she passed away). She played "Bert Bauer" - the matriarch of the entire show & "Springfield".

I used to watch this every day when I was younger, I love this music. When I was in Jr high, I would "feel sick" around 12:30 so I could leave and watch this at home, this was before we could afford VCRs of course. I would watch it and I thought Peter Reckel was a REAL BABE! I always loved Joseph Mascolo, and havent watched it since they got rid of John Clarke, I stopped watching after Marlena was possesed by Satan, but later watched it again, but like i said ever since The original Mickey, no.

@TakatofanAgain When I was 12 years old in 1993 is when I started watching Days of Our Lives. I was changing through the channels and saw Vivian dressed as a nurse in a blond wig holding a hypodermic needle was going to use to kill Caroline. Carly and Vivian got into a struggle. Vivian pulled the phone out of the wall and injected Carly and later Carly was buried alive. That was the storyline that got me hooked.

MacDonald Carey was a movie actor and was considered a big "get" for the show. So, from day 1, he was billed separately from the cast, and got a starring credit in every episode, whether or not the rest of the cast was listed. Later on, Frances Reid was given "starring" billing along with Carey, and also listed at the close of every episode. Not long after Carey died, Reid's credit returned to the regular cast crawl, still with a "starring", but no longer featured every day as Carey had been.

This is kind of like my romantic moment theme song! Love it!

I miss the full theme. And this looks like an awesome cast. 1993 was the first i remember, but all i can really remember is... you guessed it: "A woman" screaming and pounding on a coffin saying "Let me out! I can't breathe!!!" ,,, man that haunted this 7 year old's dreams. 16 years later, I know that was Carly, and its awesome she and vivian were back. I love this cast though, I wish all these people were here. I want Jenifer to stay in Salem and bring Jack with her :D

@liddlepeep categories of voice-overs..network, local 'blocking' for network show the affiliate is not going to air or intends to air at a different time..then there's no network voiceover if the show is aired at a later (when the affiliate or alternate station plays a separate recording to block network voiceovers); then there's SOAPnet doing its own thing...
That wasn't the full closing. It's missing the last 30 seconds or so.

'full' does not refer to the music - it refers to the credits themselves; in fact, i don't thin i've ever heard this version 'fully'
