You act as if she is 90 years old and has no life left to live! How is this NOT cathartic and healing for Mack? Think of all of the people that she has and will continue to help with HER TRUTH. Incest is not a "private matter that the family should handle." Would you tell your daughter that if her uncle or brother raped her?

OMG thats so sad...1 thousand a day to blow on dope and $35, 000.00 on genstones, shes had such a hard life. You'd do drugs too!!! Poor macnkenzie. I hope someday if your broke and the you can make all them necklaces!

It's amazing. If drug addicts spent as much time trying to recover as they did on scoring drugs and getting high, they would be have been recovered years and years ago.

For all of you bashing her, how many of you have actually read her book? It's an incredible story and she doesn't look for pity or anything like that. She knows she was messed up. She doesn't try to justify it. She talks about how she justified it while high, but her story is actually really moving and terrifying.

I have no idea why she just came out with it within the last few years, but I REALLY don't think she'd put her whole life story out there for everyone to hear, just to sell books, especially with something like this. Sometimes it takes years to get stuff like that out in the open and if she can get just ONE person to come clean about it because of her story, good for her. I'm pretty sure if John and Mackenzie were just some random people, no one would mock her like this.

at every point that she said that she was 'hooked' on drugs shows that it was the drugs that made here do it and not her. There is nothing irrational about the truth. An affair with her dad till she's 28? Consensual!!!
