Red Wings Destroy Patrick Roy in Montreal 11-1

Patrick Roy's infamous last game with the Habs. All the Wings fault! Wings lit up Montreal in a 11-1 rout. Roy was responsible for nine goals before he got the hook half way through the game.

Was this the last time the Red Wings ever scored 10 or more goals in a game? Don't really know for sure but what I remember from a few years back, the Wings in Columbus playing the Blue Jackets, they scored 9 goals in a 9-1 win. No ten goals in that game but that was what I remember. This video was 156years old. 17 now that we are in 2012. :D :D

@turbofun998 Um, no? The Avs and Wings met 5 times in the playoffs during Roys era in Colorado. The Avs won 3 of those series. And 17 out of 30 games.

Funny thing is, if Detroit hadn't "destroyed" Roy in this game they would probably have won the Stanley Cup that season, because Colorado would never had last in the playoffs with Stephane Fiset and Jocelyn Thibault. That's irony for you.

and how times did Roy destroy the wings chance to go to the Cup finals. I should upload the clip from THAT SAME YEAR in the playoffs where Patrick Roy destroyed Redwings in the conference finals and went on to win the cup.
