Spike is a pied cockatiel and is 13 years old. He says "pretty bird", barks, and whistles. He can also say "come here boy" and make other noises but he only does it when he wants to.

  • He is really cute :) And it's nice to see an "old" cockatiel in very good health ! You must be a very good parent for him :). (I know 14 is not an old age, but it's more than a lot of hand feed cockatiel you can see now.)

  • @Takara3

Thanks! I appreciate you saying that. I care about Spike a lot and do everything to keep him happy and healthy.

  • Spike is not a pied cockatiel .He is a normal male

  • @1952BELLA

Actually he is a pied. One give away is his feet color. Also, he has some yellow flight feathers and tail feathers.

  • I am holding a towel above his head. He likes a lot of weird things like plastic bags and socks. He gets obsessed over things and if you move them he will chase you.

  • @WenAcst - I think it's like another bird spreading its wings. It can be seen as a challenge.

  • Sounds like he says "uh oh" too :D

  • sounds like a squeaky toy at 0:11 :D
