First series of tests, with an old music track of mine attached to hopefully make it a bit more interesting. Animation was done with a transparent sheet of paper as the background, with characters and camera above it and candles below. No real story as of yet; just working out how best to build and move these things.

  • This is awesome! I'm trying to do something like this, but it takes a lot of work. Right now, my attention span isn't cut out for it.

    I would recommend giving it a try, I just spent a few hours making the set and the characters and setting up a simple workstation with a handycam, then about four hours of actual animating time, and came up with a bit of a story on the way. Not nearly as difficult as I had expected, good luck!
