I used to do quite a lot of studio work and broadway shows. Can't really say I loved doing Broadway Shows and nowadays, unless I really need the money, I would prefer another type of gig. Nonetheless, there was a time when i took every gig that came my way and kissed butt to get as many studio jobs as I could and this recording is one of those times!
I like it because the arrange knew me and my playing capabilities and wrote some cool lead parts and a "The Jetsons" style Bud Brisbois lick was written in for me to play which you can hear more near the end.
For those of you lead players that used to watch The Jetsons just to hear the theme ( like me ) and Bud Brisbois playing unbelievably, you might just get a kick out of listening to this arrangement.
Keep in mind this is a studio recording for an indoor show at King's Island...obviously no singing on it!
