Lylat Wars is the original japanese name whilst Starfox is the american name whilst Starwing is the european name.

its called genisis in Europe? I thought it was the other way around. mine is called a genisis.

@OmagaMinion No, it's called the Mega Drive everywhere except the US and Canada.

I've read in American gaming magazines that Sega went with Genesis for the Mega Drive in the U.S. to appeal to the bible belt, and to Star Trek fans. But so much info on such matters conflict with each other, who knows?

@cessnaace I heard they changed the name as another product was copyrighted as the Mega Drive in the US and Canada.
