  • i got an average framerate of 180fps at 1280x1024+8XAA+all high settings with sapphire HD 6850 but HD 5850 crossfire get about 167fps at same settings.

  • i get 2 fps lol

  • @flabergas2da9 not exsactly.. If your playing a game and the game doesnt know to use thoes other cores a Dulecore CPU will run the same speed as a 8 core CPU If you have a full bottle of water and to pour a little of that water into 7 other bottles you still only have one bottle of water...Why are you asing the Origonal question If you already have a understanding of what you set your mind on?

  • @VicViperXxXxX You just contradicted yourself. You can dedicate stuff to different cores, therefore the computer will go faster because there is less stress on each core.

  • @flabergas2da9 More cores dont make a PC fatster, It only makes the Number of things it can do Greater. I.E dedicate a program to a core and 2 other programs to the remaining cores... means less stress per core

  • 400 FPS ... I want to die..

    My PC sucks.

    P.S. I'm just 15 years old.

  • Would two 6450's with a athlon dual core cpu be better than a 6570 with athlon quad core?
