very good, but are you not able to play this without these backup notes?

What's great about this vid? Well played and proof that the JMJ sound really comes this great Dutch Organ. /me hugs his Eminent 310 :)

Bravo panowie! Trochę sprzętu, trochę talentu, kwity i jest 'Garażowy Jarre"! :)

Yes, he used the Eminent for the melody and also the EMSVCS3 for the swirly effects. I quote from "Analog Synthesizers Understanding, Performing, Buying" Mark Jenkins "...the distinctive, whirling, abstract sounds created by Jean Michel Jarre... generally came from a particular set up on the VCS3 or Synthi A. Although simple, this can be surprisingly difficult to match on other instruments". ch 5, p 182
"Jean Michel Jarre featured the VCS3 extensively on his debut album Oxygene..." ch 3, p 66

@Laura041974 what are you talking about, jean michel jarre used the Eminent 310 unique in oxygene and equinoxe, wich is a dutch made organ from the 1970's, the organ is not built anymore, but it still roulates as second hand purchase on the internet.

To get the effects Jarre used here, the authentic machine would be an EMS VCS 3. They're really expensive (£4,000 I saw once). If you can find one, there's lots of bids or a high fixed price. I couldn't imagine spending that sort of money but the prices only reflect what people are willing to pay! In contrast, I saw an Eminent Solina on ebay that didn't sell for 99p! Some parts of this song will cost you much dearer than others if you want to use the same instruments.

How did you create the rhythm track?

I have an Eminent 1600 Orchestra that sounds pretty close to a 310 but I don't know how to connect it to a phaser and delay. I have a BEHRINGER VINTAGE PHASER and a BOSS GT3 guitar board with all effects including phaser and delay.Any help would be appreciated.

Actually is not so hard to play the song, the sheet is not so complex. There are some details that are not the same in the original play. I would liked to hear the effect that is unique on this track, but anyway nice live performance.
