Pinky lives in a 55 gallon tank. I bought him at a pet shop in Montery Park for $25 in Dec 2003.He was 12 inches when I first got him. He is 13 inches now. He only eats Hikari Cichlid fish food. He has never been sick in his life. He is always happy and cheerful.

  • Wow, really nice RD...you ever plan on breeding them?

  • no because Pinky the male fish will kill the female.

Once Pinky bit me and it drew blood on my hand.

  • no its not, thats retarded, people breed these fish in 40s and 55s, and for a fish to breed they have to be happy so clearly this is enough for it.

a 75 would be more than enough for one of these, a 55 is the minimum, not a 120.

    you sir are the idiot.

  • Lol, the tank is alright. A 55 gallon is more than enough for one Red Devil. The depth of these tanks are usually upwards of 20 inches from front to back, the fish can easily turn around.

  • @fishdude401 yeah just a little if you had a 10" oscar and a 10" RD the oscar would be dead in a few minutes

  • They say one red devil needs a 50 galloon or more fish tank

  • @cmonkey99 well maybe not because i also have a pair of red devils and they breed

  • haha oscars arent that aggressive

  • if he put another fish in theere it would be lucky to survive 5 minutes, these fish are more aggressive than oscars
