  • @YautjaElder14 He is simply wonderful, your granddad! His playing adds years (or rather subtracts)!

  • wow... an awesome treat

  • @DaJugglingFool

Yah, yes way! I'm not sure how to prove that, but he is. xD I never knew him personally, but my Mom and her sisters have many stories.

  • @YautjaElder14 naaaaaaaw, no way!

  • Pretty cool; Dick Wellstood was my grandfather.

  • Love stride piano, and these two are among my favorites~ Thia ia great~Thank you for sharing this joy with all of us that love the music, and these great piano players!

  • The pianos are tinny, the camera angle isn't the best . . . but this is a priceless piece of art: two stride masters who knew the style so well that they resisted the tendency to pound, louder and faster. They knew that Fats' composition was a love song and give it a dancing, playful tribute.

  • Thanks for sharing.

I Was really looking for Don Ewell vids but never found. Its Hard to find.

  • Absolutely wonderful. These two guys had it down. What a treat.

  • the late Ewell after his stroke in finest form and the ever fitting Wellstood... really rare-GREAT
