manager stops customers from entering wal-mart a half hour before the posted closing time on christmas eve, causing an argument with angry customers...especially the guy who is there to buy gifts for his children for christmas.

If it says the store closes at 8 then it close at 8. There is not a time posted to be in there before. Of course everybody that works for Walmart or ANY OTHER place that closes after 8 want to be home with family. Christmas Day is the only day my work is closed and we usually close at 10 pm on Christmas Eve.Point is get over it and be thankful you have a job at the holiday time especially!
