people don't need to replace their religion with atheism - atheism is less agressive than that.
atheism requires you to see that you can live without the insinuations supplied by labels.
in many ways atheism is the brand given by theists and those of faith so that they can treat them as outsiders.

@Hoogz20 atheism is NOT a faith or belief system... it is the non-belief in gods... that is all... some may believe in evolution and some don't... the only thing atheists unanimously believe in is that there is no factual demonstrable evidence to support the existence of god or that he/she/it/they created us....that's it... nothing more, nothing less....

Well atheism is a belief system. It is a faith. If you claim "there is no Creator God" then by default you accept evolution as a means of explaining how you came to exist. Which, by necessity, would mean you also must adhere to certain ideas and things that affirm your worldview. Unless of course you don't believe you exist at all in which case I'd say your argument really doesn't have any meaning whatsoever and would the be deemed irrational. Agree or disagree?

I agree with your views, that's why i call myself an atheist when someone asks me what religion i believe in and that my ideology is humanism.

if you think you need faith to be an atheist, you're not an atheist. you're an atheist by default once you loose faith. it is something you by definition become once you do not have faith in theism. to loose faith in atheism is not possible, atheism is not a faith question, it is not a viewpoint. what you can do, is to regain faith in theism.
