Funeral March (Chopin; High Audio Version)

A repost of Chopin's famous funeral march, occasioned by Sony Music corp laying claim to my first posting of this in high audio.

This version is slightly longer than the previous version as I play the middle section with all the repeats. I hope I have improved the playing over the other posting.

This video is dedicated especially to the people of Germany, where my other video is blocked!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. :-) I think I agree about it being a bit too fast though.... my other performance (the one that Sony is claiming) is somewhat slower; it's a minute shorter than this one due to the fact that I don't play the repeat in that recording.

When I go to my account, I see a notice that "You have videos that may contain content that is owned by someone else. Please review these videos." When I go to look, I see that Sony is claiming this recording.

Actually, I see a new one (yay) today: an entity called "Believe" (yes, really) is claiming my audio of Chopin's 20th prelude (which has been up for 2 years). Off I go to submit another dispute......

I think the sound is better on the first version for sure. I haven't gotten around to setting up the Facebook page I've been talking about, but maybe if I did it would put some pressure on Sony to give me a contract. ;-)

Don't you play it a bit too slow? Rachmaninoff played it much slower because it's supposed to be a march.
