Siglo XIX. Grace es hija de un granjero acomodado que la envía a un colegio para ser educada. Cuando vuelve a su casa convertida en una señorita, su padre considera que debe casarse con un joven médico en lugar de con Giles, otro granjero. Grace accede a este matrimonio pero pronto se dará cuenta de su error.

Thank you ever so much for uploading this movie here. Tried to buy it, but everywhere it is sold out. On Ebay someone is selling it for £20 which I find ridiculous. Excellent film.

I watched this yesterday and now I want to watch it again. Thank you for uploading this. Thomas Hardy's stories always make me cry. This is just beauifully sad. Great acting from Rufus Swell!

@siouxsan618 I JUST saw the movie tonight and loved the music too and wanted a copy. I found the soundtrack on ebay. Nowhere else though. Loved this production. Can't believe I didn't see it sooner.

I love the music and wish I could buy the soundtrack, but I think it must be out of print? I love Rufus Sewell....really liked his character in Middlemarch.

It's a very underrated story, but i enjoyed this film.
