  • A really moving speech by President Reagan. It's apparent that he was not the intellectual lightweight that some try to label him. As I watched I sometimes was thinking how President Bush 43 would have done had he tried to deliver the same speech--not so good, I think.

  • President Reagan, Please come back!

  • :)) Im so happy to see President Reagan speak of an opposing politican in this manner , beautifully delivered , just beautiful

  • Just proves that Reagan was class. He simplified things and had comman sense.Cut through the bullshit and get things to work again. He couldn`t have done better with the likes of someone like JFK without meaning it if he had tried. Those two could have worked together with some disagreements and still would have been a solid force by respect and admirement.Another words they wouldn`t been out to try to fuck one another.

  • And let's not forget who wrote the speech: Peggy Noonan, whose politics I dislike but who was one of the best presidential speechwriters ever. It helped that she was a former Kennedy Democrat who converted to Reagan in the late '70s.

  • The quintessential republican and the symbolic democrat... unfortunately both were fairly corrupted (or in kennedy's case killed) by the system around them.

  • As Wiyey said , God bless them both JFK and Ronald Reagan. The youngest ever elected and the oldest. Both wise leaders and both having much in common in many ways. Visionaries and patriots. True leaders the likes of which we will probably never see again.

  • God bless them both, if only had Another one like them!

  • lovely

  • Reagan is the best, he can addapt to any aduiance, just showing how universal he was, and how wise he was. Few people asend so high with such wit and such wisdome. God bless him. Hes simply the best.

  • I think Reagan did admire JFK because he quoted and referenced him in a number if his speeches. JFK was more of a moderate and appealed to both parties.

  • An eloquent speech, by an eloquent man, RIP Ronald Wilson Reagan, you are in our hearts still.
