Live with Jørgen Munkeby is a groundbreaking live co-operation recorded at Roskilde Festival and Aarhus Internationel Jazzfestival 2007, between one af Denmarks most experimental big bands under the leadership of Jens Christian Chappe Jensen and composer and multi instrumentalist Jørgen Munkeby from Norway, who primarily is known from his work with Jaga Jazzist and recently the prizewinning band Shining
Blood Sweat Drum´n´Bass Big Band is a 27-piece jazz-bigband, that features young and upcomming Danish jazz-musicians and composers. Originally Blood, Sweat Drumn Bass is the title of a suite consisting of the first six pieces released on the CD Blood Sweat Drumn Bass Big Band Olufsen Records 2004. The suite was written by Jens Chr. Chappe Jensen for extended Big Band and had its first performance in Aarhus Festival Week 2001.
