@Wanita59 Well I'm going to publicly apologise here if youre offended by my previous comments. I just saw a video elsewhere of No Secrets from Norwood, here in Adelaide with Gleeson singing. Man that is bloody TRAGIC!! Glad I didnt go to see them. I reckon even I sing that better (no I won't post a video....yet)

@Wanita59 He should get an injunction to stop them from using the name then. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one' The Angels', and that has Doc as it's front man. Like ACDC, Bon is the only front man,not that other bloke. If youre a huge fan of The Angels, thats great, like I am, and I play their songs acoustically to people that love the Aussie music coz that what they want to hear. No, I don't think Dave Gleeson should be in the band, or anyone else as frontman, it should be Doc.

Makes me sick to see anyone supporting the Gleeson line-up under a video of one of the greatest songs of all time,with the greatest singer/entertainer/artist/best looking/incredibly awesome man of all time singing the lyrics - the man, who if was not the front man of the Angels from the beginning well this video probably wouldn't exist, the band would not have got off the ground and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Show some respect and have a Merry Christmas!

The new Angels is Rick Brewsters Angels featuring Dave Gleeson, it is sad that Doc is not up front but that is just the way it is. The group is & always has been based on the Brewster Brothers, they were the Originals, Doc came later (if my memory serves me right).

I have been a fan since 78 as well, But I can appreciate the new material with Dave up front, it sounds Authentic & is as good as the original music, & is better than todays garbage on the current market.

Gleeson's Angels are breaking the law by using the name & sticking it up real Angels fans like me who have supported them since 1978.

Because Lesmartin, there is a legal bloody document that cost Doc Neeson a lot of money that states, irevocably, that the name "The Angels" can only be used by Doc (Bernard) Neeson, (Graham) Buzz Bidstrup, John Brewster, Rick Brewster & Chris Bailey.

@leesmartin all bands have problems . it goes with the territory...dosnt matter if its a high school band or the rolling stones. it takes a lot of balls to stay together and get thru it all. spose its about the music. i agree with you gleeso is filling in the part and doin it well. no hes not doc, but hey its early days yet, and he is a very flexible muso, so he will put his own twist o things, and i guess its our jobs as fans to stick by them and watch the angels evolve.
