Tet holiday ( The lunar new year).
The first sight and the fifth sight: A flower garden in my city ( There were many any peaches there. Every year, peach flowers only blossom at Tet holiday).
The second sight and the fourth sight: a flower market in my city ( There are always some flower markets at Tet holiday. A lot of people bring various types of flowers to the markets to sell. Others come there to purchase the blooms to decorate their houses).
The third sight: A normal maket in my city ( In the market, there are many small stores. The owners sell Chung cake which is called sticky cake. This is traditional cake of Vietnamese at Tet holiday).
The next sights: Some trade sights before the lunar new year and lovely sightseeings in the city ( The swan lake, Vo Mieu Temple)
Introducing about Vo Mieu temple:
Vo Mieu is a temple which was built in the mid 19th century near former Ha Tinh wall and now belongs to territory of Tan Giang quarter in Ha Tinh city. The temple is called Quan Thanh Tu ( Holy mandarin) to dedicate Van Truong mandarin, a general of strategic talent, heroic spirit and total faithfulness of Chinese history during the three Kingdoms ( Tam Quoc) dynasty.
It situates in a large site, surrounded with many century- old trees. Vo Mieu is grant and quiet. It is not clear that artisans by chance or deliberatedly made the architectural style of the small Temple to reflect personality of historical actors dedicated here.
The Vo Mieu's structure comprises a three- door Temple gate is larger, heavily built, grant but well- proportioned with panorama of the site and halls thanks to its unique architecture and independent and supple decorative details showing images of swelling tiger and blending phoenix...
The tow halls of Temple have a mutually liked- up architecture with an open ground in the middle to create the opening and deepness of architectural space. The front of lower palace was decorated rather well with various shapes of sitting dragons, " moon holding" swelling tiger. With the structure of eight roofs, the upper palace enhanced further grandness, and ancient look of the Temple.
Vo Mieu is not only a beautiful architecture but also holds many valuable exhibits such as ancient statutes, hundred- aged bronze bells and a lot of scrolls and ancestral tablets to help us more understand about Ha Tinh's history, culture and people as well as their spirit deepness.
