@afghanhalek It's all part of the Exotica in the film, which is not limmited only to the birds that Thomas smuggles but also to the people of color (Thomas dates at the Ballet), Harold's neighbours and also the way we look at women like Christina - as if everybody knows what they're all about (sassy piece of jailbate).

@LordRockfish Right? I was a freshman in college when this came out. I saw in theaters like 3 times, and Im sure part of the reason was the soundtrack.

Love this movie. Atom Egoyan is the true master of Canadian cinema now that Cronenberg's gone to the US and Europe for his productions.

Atom Egoyan is a master film director, and his films have serious depth and art to them. The soundtracks in his films are always dope
