Lol at 2:38! Gotta love Sudbury Junction, a shack in the middle of a junkyard! Really gives a great image of my hometown haha!

The Abitibi, before it was called that - let's just say the Montreal-Chicoutimi service - was an overnight train with sleepers before it was cut to three days a week and re-scheduled into a daytime train. Check an old timetable.

I notice nothing is said about Toronto. Toronto is the hub of the VIA Rail regardless of the Quebec connection.

Awesome video. I'm a Canadian and in my opinion maintain entirely the Via Rail Canada and Amtrak systems for the eternity.
Keep our US/Canada rail heritage active for the actual and future generations.

Oh you want an AMTRAK joke do you?? Ok here goes.. A man in Iowa found out he was dying of cancer so he decided to end it all. So he went and stood on the tracks minutes before the scheduled arrival of the California Zephyr and waited for the train to run him over. He starved to death.
