Actually.. ever since I saw Gladiator (It doesn't matter if it has gory action-scenes, they story had NO POINT to it) and Master and Commander, I've thought Ridley as being very senile. You can kind of tell when you watch the interviews, too.

This movie definitely had it's flaws and did not live up to the hype and expectations I had but if there is one thing that this movie did right was the character of David. The performance was so awesome and intriguing that I wonder why they didn't just make a movie about David trying to figure out human beings instead cause that would've gotten a couple awards. Still David 8 has got to be one of my favorite characters on screen of all time.

Pfff. If someone held their finger awkwardly like that over a glass forever while talking to me - I'd notice. Because I'd have noticed that, if they then dipped that finger in a drink right in front of and facing me, I'd notice that too and I'd say, "Oh I don't think so".

Hold your finger just like that over a glass for five minutes in company and then offer someone a drink, see what happens. It so very obvious - it looks as if he's that finger in his ass.

I agree. For some reason, when characters started dying...I kept hoping David would be spared lol. Even after he used Shaw's bf as a lap rat.

Despite how old your comment is, a question. What was wrong really with the SW prequels? They showed Vader's origins(even if he was a whiny person). Showed what exactly the "clone wars," were from New Hope, and finally how the empire and Palpatine came to be.
