Wow. It sounds VERY different when it's not using the old school PC speaker. It wouldn't do voices at all.

This was my favorite game when I was little. The music is so catchy!

omg i remember this...

this game was siiiiick

This might just be my lack of knowledge with the British accent, but the voice acting seems somewhat sedated / uninterested. Like, "Yeah, Galaxy crashed... I guess we'd better do something about that..."

Wow! I remember playing this when I was like 5 along with reader rabbit and I could'nt understand what they wanted us to do.

@Obscuritory Which version of DosBox? And how did you get the Windows version of the progam to run on DosBox?

@CallinWire This is the only version with UK voices that I've seen

What did you use to tape this?

@Lingyan203 I ran a copy of Windows 3.1 in DOSBox, which has a built-in record feature. It's very very handy. :)

That's strange. The version I played had people with American accents speaking, not British. Looks like they had different versions for both regions.

Now that you mention it, that IS true. The copy I originally played had American voices too. However, there's no indication that the version I'm using right now is localized or specialized for Europe; none of the spellings are different.

In one of this video's puzzles it has "kilometres" and in another video it has "kilometers", so I guess it was localized. So that means there are at least 4 English versions of this game, maybe more.

Here's another weird one: the ballast puzzle hint talks about "20p pieces," but the thermometer puzzle is still in Fahrenheit. I'm very, very confused.
