Rosemary Brown, MSN, RN, the chief nursing and patient care services officer at Duke Raleigh Hospital, announces that Duke Raleigh has received Magnet designation, which recognizes a high level of nursing excellence.

Peggy Baker, Ed.D., M.Ed., RN, the chief nursing and patient care services officer at Durham Regional Hospital, further explains the importance of the Magnet designation and talks about how Durham Regional achieved the designation in 2008.

Mary Ann Fuchs, MSN, RN, the chief nursing and patient care services officer for Duke University Hospital and Duke University Health System, explains the signifcance of having all three DUHS hospitals achieve Magnet status.
