I made this trailer with several concepts in mind starting with what TED is all about; communication. Samuel F.B. Morse, a Yale graduate, invented Morse Code, a method of transmitting textual information as a series of on-off tones, lights, or clicks that can be directly understood by a skilled listener or observer without special equipment. I see Morse code as a metaphor for the inspirational value TED brings to those involved and an audiovisual representation for the potential good that can come to those skilled listeners and communicators.
