I can see him using a spindash-cancel i don't know yet.

i looked on youtube, but they only show the SDC's where you cancel during the charge of a SD.

while on 4:44 for example, he does some kind of cancel after the roll animation.

can someone tell me how? :)

That was just an ASC shield-cancel (ie. down-b in air, you can shield as it lands on the ground). It *did* seem to "push forward" as it landed, that's just because it had a lot of forward velocity when it landed.

Check my vids for my "Sonic's side-B and down-B explained" vid if you've never seen ASC shield-cancels.

Thanks! I just watched your other video. I already knew the other things. just not the part that you can cancel a ASC when it hits the ground. I'm sure this will help in openings :D

It amazes me how guys like shugo can look at sonic, look at that moveset, and figure out how to use that POS moveset to compete with the best chars in the game. You are watching a master at work

It's a joke. OS once claimed (clearly without testing it) that Sonic's dash attack couldn't pick up bananas along with a bunch of other proclamations about how Sonic is crap. >:(
