Thanks for the tip,I must try that!!!

Thats a good sign! If the flame is invisible in daylight it is a good indication that your combustion is very clean. If you really want to see you flame you can toss in a little copper oxide for a lovely green flame or use an infrared camera. Keep up the super work

Oh right,Thanks for the great advice!!!

don't worry about the colour of the flame not being exactly blue. You will find that the slight orange/yellow will be from the iron and iron oxide burning off the tins you use. If you use stainless steel you would find the yellow colour would disappear.

I have tried filming in daylight but the problem is that you can't see the flames in the stove and it looks like its not light.
But I'll try to figure something out!!!

Good job on the stove.
Maybe you can do your videos in the daylight so we can see your propjects a little easier.
Take care,

I have used Hexi with the "warrior" stove and cup. Got several big blocks of Hexi for a quid each. Great out camping, No smell, no impact on the trail. could have a cup of Tea for drinking in a handul of minutes, leaving no mess behind. Dont like the idea of alcohol stoves, Wot if they spill ?
