I lived in Saigon duriing 1970. Black Market was thriving. You could ride down the street downtown and wave a carton of cigs or a bottle of cognac and make a tidy profit. You could buy drugs at virtually any taxi or cyclo stand. It was wild, crazy and dangerous. Wouldn't want to go thru it again but wouldn't take anything for the experience.
