Arja Saijonmaa and Mikis Theodorakis 1970

Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis was released from Junta prison in 1970 and sent to exile. He visited Helsinki in November and Finnish musicians gave him a tribute concert at Vanha. Here Mikis meets Arja Saijonmaa for the first time and is impressed.

This is a wonderful unique document indeed. I have the radiorecording of 4 of the Romiosini songs with Arja from the 1970-1972 tour. I will upload the first one tonight and the rest later. Thanks for Posting this !
