2 DD2515's on 2 DD M1a's strapped at 1ohm. Box is ~8cuft w/ interchangable slot ports (36hz) and a battery box area. the batt area has a Optima d34. DD CX9x6's in the front doors. Clarion Max675vdii.

This install metered 150.6dB on the Termlab.

  • Incorrect. And you will lose HALF your output by doing so as well. You can tune a box to no matter how low you want.

  • @memphiskicksass You are an idiot... the type of box depends on the TS parameters of the subwoofer. i.e. a sub with a .6 or higher qts will suck in a ported box but be great in sealed and a sub with a qts of .4 or lower will excel in a ported box.

  • sealed boxes is for tight spaces and sound quality purposes, ported for spl period. you did it right man by making the port where you can change it, I'm planning on doing the same thing.
