Kamui Kobayashi, Panasonic Toyota Racing

Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi will make his Grand Prix debut this weekend in Brazil for Panasonic Toyota Racing, as a replacement for Timo Glock, who has cracked a vertebra. Kamui, 23, has been third driver for Panasonic Toyota Racing since the beginning of the 2008 season and is also the reigning GP2 Asia champion. He took part in Friday practice for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka when Timo Glock was suffering from a cold and fever, but this weekend will make his race debut in Formula 1.
