@ForGodNeverCountry I agree scripture would probably need to be viewed in ways other than literal, but considering Jesus himself spoke in parables to keep the true meaning of the story for those who found it, i believe the truth in our Bible is also hidden. Thank King James for that. The Bible we have today is all true but it is not the whole truth.

@evewale I'm NOT saying God lied. I'm saying you haven't proved your point. Elohim said IN THE DAY YOU EAT YOU SHALL DIE and they DID NOT die physically but spiritually. The serpent said they they to become AS gods I.E. they were to KNOW GOOD AND EVIL. Clearly you are not listening. Satan may be a liar, but where died the serpent lie in the garden? Elohim didn't tell Adam and Eve they were to die spiritually, just that they should die. The serpent said they wouldn't die in the day they ate.

@TheJamezMan I showed you were he lied.Truthfully Adam and Eve's eyes didn't become open just because they knew the difference between good and evil truth is they became shut. Shut from the goodness of the spiritual realities they once had and the physical connection with their Creator. It damned them NOTHING good came from it so if you want to continue believing your new age lies that are keeping you blind from a relationship with your Creator it is your choice

@TheJamezMan the promise by God was fulfilled they died spiritually AND they also started the process of dying so God was not lying when stating that. As soon as a baby enters this world they start to die it's fact that everything living on earth is dying. No their eyes became open to good and evil and this put them in a WORSE place then they were previously in they WERE like gods BEFORE eating having immortality and being made in the image of God with dominion

@evewale From a physical point of view they did not die in the day they ate the fruit as promised by Elohim (scripture doesn't mention him saying they were to spiritually die in Genesis). After they ate the fruit there eyes did become open to the knowledge of good and evil thus becoming as the gods, or spiritual beings with that understanding. Lying by its modern definition which you just showed me is a false statement, where was it? I still haven't heard a good answer.

@TheJamezMan Well I thought I had answered this but let me try again. Satan said Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

They were already as close to godhood as they were going to get by being made in God's image and being given dominion. He also told them they would not die this is also a lie. Deception is lying no way around it.

@TheJamezMan A god with a little g in Scripture is about rulership and dominion not being God. The Scriptures also make it very clear that God is the ONLY ONE TRUE LIVING GOD

@TheJamezMan no it means exactly what it says it also says that satan is refered to as god in 2 Cor 4:4 The fact is satan lied because they were already in the image of God they were already as much like him as were gonna get. Did you read the definition of lie? You said he did not lie when in fact he did and more then once.
