Strong Political Will on Climate Change From Commonwealth Leaders says Ban Ki-moon N Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says the special session on climate change at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Trinidad and Tobago has been, "very constructive and very useful." At a press conference at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting on Friday Mr. Ban said strong political will is being expressed by the leaders of the Commonwealth. The heads of government are expected to release a statement on climate change before the meeting ends. At the opening ceremony on Friday, head of the Commonwealth, HM Queen Elizabeth II spoke about the opportunity the Commonwealth had to lead the world on climate change. Commonwealth Secretary-General, Kamalesh Sharma noted that in carrying out its global responsibility the Commonwealth must give priority to the most threatened and the most vulnerable.
