  • what kinda video files can it play? can it play divx/xvid aka the common .avi files?

  • MJPEG, WMV9, MPEG4-SP3, DivX3 4/5 and XviD3

  • thanks for the reply. i forgot to ask. can i just drag and drop any videos i downloaded or do i need to resize it to 320x280? i read in other reviews it says i have to do it otherwise the player will lock up

  • You need to resize it with the software that is provided. It's quite painless actually. Anyways the player wun lock up, it just won't play the file.

  • sadly my comp doesnt have an sd slot or attachment(one year and it is already emensly outdated 0_o)i think there is a way to on the player itself,it has a folder saying imported, but im not sure if thet is how to

  • That import folder are files imported from the SD card to the ZEN. Or you can slot in the SD card in the ZEN and connect it to your com via the USB cable. I think i will work too :)

  • I've had this thing for 2,5 years now and I love it!

  • Soo.... it's about $100 for it? I'll pass.

  • @timoxomit Sorry for the VERY late reply. Well to me, it doesn't really matter where i get the music from, but if you think about it, i guess it does kinda depend on it. (like 10%) To play good music, a systems sound card has to be good, although there were some occurrences with other mp3s that the MP# file was corrupted and caused a screeching noise. But never happened with the X-FI

  • @KLxSkyLight but it also depends on where I get the music from rigth?

  • @timoxomit Part 3 (sorry theres 3 parts, you tube has a limit on characters allowed per response): Also take into consideration the size, because if you like to exercise and keep your mp3 in your pocket, you most like are not going to be able to fit the touch in your pocket. so its all up to you. Hope you get my response in time. Happy Christmas eve and Merry Christmas!!

  • @timoxomit Part 2: For rock and hip hop, i would say that the Zen gives a better and "less rockier" feel to the music than the nano, but with the x-fi on, it sounds different. just different. so it depends on what type of music your planning to listen to.

  • @timoxomit Part 1: Well, ive never had an ipod touch, but i have compared music from my ipod nano to my Creative zen with x-fi on and off. If its sound quality, for this comparison, it depends the type of music your listening to. For classical music, they sounds pretty much the same, but with the x-fi on, it sounds different but in a good way.

  • @KLxSkyLight but the difference in sound quality isn't big right? Because I went to the electronic store and the person told me that even although zen has the x-fi technology the sound quality mainly consists of what headphones are you using and where you get your music from.

Since I use skullcandy SkPros and download my music from internet I don't think there will be much difference between the zen and the ipod, am I correct?

  • @timoxomit i personally dont like the ipod touch due to its large size. i would support the zen, but the original Zen and the Zen x-fi are also very good. (The original zen is discontinued, you can buy it from ebay) So i would get the Zen. Although the Ipod is often alot of fun, it is VERY breakable and is and should not be used for exercise

  • so what should I get, Zen x-fi style or an Ipod touch 4G please help christmas is around the corner an I still haven't decided!!!
