  • Why are people saying e=mc^2 is wrong? do you people even know that this equation only says that the energy in mass (yes the energy in mass not an electric field) is equal to the mass times the speed of light squared? This guy is talking about the equation for a particle in a point in space that has an electric field. From the sounds of it Mathematicians came up with string theory to satisfy their equation.

  • Enough with this "Einstein was wrong" bs. First of all it was one experiment and it's still being investigated like any other experiment would. Second of all you can't say anything about the impact of that experiment's results. Maybe it only applies to neutrinos, or maybe there's some other exotic answer. Besides, we already know that general relativity is technically flawed, as it's incompatible with quantum physics. But it's right enough for our nuclear power plants and GPSes.

  • @eleutheromaniac Wow, you know, I never thought about it that way.

  • @jewbinson e = mc2 has been disproven. faster than light travel is possible, as many have long suspected and cern has recently proven, therefore that formula is irrelevant gibberish.

  • @eleutheromaniac Energy = E = mc^2. If E = infinity, then either m = infinity which we know is not true, or c = infinity which we know is not true. Therefore E cannot equal infinity.

  • if it has no predictive value isn't it useless.

  • How long is a piece of string?

  • Why is infinity not the right answer?

  • Extremely patronising of fellow physicists. I would expect better of a Nobel Prize laureate.

  • Thank you very much
