Today, I got angry. So I sat down and started playing. And I played until I wasn't angry anymore.
The keyboard lets me express my feelings through my hands, and come to terms with them. This is exactly what happened here.
The entire piece is an improvisation, and I made it up entirely as I went. It was done in one take, with no editing, to fully document the transition I made from Angry to Okay.
Listening to this whilst wrapping-up me christmas presents (last minute as usual), wish I could wrap up the gift that you have tosh. Keep tickling those ivories.

Tchaikovsky comes to mind. Known for so many beautiful waltz, but at times his music was very dark and angry. This composition carries the listener through every spontaneous emotion of the music and the story grew more interesting as the piece progressed. You are a very gifted young man and you have the ability to be an inspiration to so many aspiring musicians. Continue to let the music flow out of you.

That was amazing. I remember the first time you crawled upon a piano bench at 2 and belted out your first perfectly executed tune. Wow, you have become quite a musician. Glad it helps de-stress as well. Amazing song from an amazing guy.

angry or not, it was brilliant and beautiful - as always. on the selfish side . . . I miss hearing it around the house everyday. I miss weekly rehearsals and gigs. I miss jamming and being able to sing anytime anywhere knowing the best on the keys is up there with us. People with your level of talent aren't that easy to find. Let's have some fun while you're home this summer.
