@SultanOfPuntland none there is a hadith about removing some but it is weak, however what is the evidence to say trimming is haram? Undoubtedly the evidence shows Mohammad sws did not trim so this is best, however ibn ummar trimmed his beard and people forget the hadith about letting the beard grow was narrated by who? Ibn ummar ra did he not understand the hadith he narrated from the Prophet sws's lips? He was known for his strictness to the sunnah and his father was Ummar ra

@soheilafghan1 Yes, i agree with u but the Sunnah is to act by following the statement of the Prophet salallahu aleyhi wasallam, and his actions, and actions that was done by his companions while with him and was not forbid by him... We do not follow that which has been done by Ibn Umar (r.a) we follow rasulullah (s.a.w). The question is; has ibn Umar (r.a) heard the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbidding the shaving/cutting of the beard?
