I made this blanket for a friend's baby. I have made many before and after this one. Unfortunately, I gave the blanket to my friend before snapping one last photo of the finished product. :( Thanks for watching!

  • I gave the blanket to a friend's baby before I remembered to take a "finished" pic. It really burns me that I did that!

  • One of the most helpful videos I have seen so far. Not sure I'm crazy about the finished corner but that's just my taste. Luv the music!

  • @overthehill5678 I'm not crazy about the corners either! I have not been able to find any examples or demos of how to do one better that I can follow. I want someone to show me a better way. Thinking about taking the next one to Joann's for a bit of expert help.

  • I just watched a wonderful video for making the corners really nice. Look up MissouriQuiltco on you tube. She had a 4 part tutorial on a baby quilt also. Check it out.

  • super video, wish all were done this well. thanks so much for doing this, very VERY much appreciated.

  • why didn't you show the finished quilt?! It would have been nice to see the work. Thanks for the tutorial!

  • This is so awesome, I can not wait to start!

  • enjoyed the video and the music, the corners are not so hard to do this way for a baby quilt, however by now I am sure you have seen quick mitered corners somewhere. If not check out Nancy Z for her method, or just google mitered corner for a tutorial.

  • 1- LOVED the music;

    2- good presentation

    3-pls show finished product????

    4- corners although may have looked ok-didnt look perfectly finished...thanks!

  • super- have no babies but still nice to do :)

  • Thanks for posting, lots of great tips in there. It's also nice to use one of the patterned fabrics as a homemade binding. I made it wider and machine stitch right thru front and back which is quicker. But ... have to be very careful that there is the same amount of binding on front and back by using a LOT of pins.

  • Loved your video. I have made a few quilt but it's been a while and I want to get inot it again. You have inspired me. I also like your color combination.
