  • You.. about IR now, a man from nowhere to become one of the gratest film composers in India!

So what is wrong working in a tea plant to save a family?

  • Some of the ancient languages in the world are Sanskrit, Tamil, Hebrew, Arabic, Greek and Latin. Tamil and Sanskrit are completely unrelated languages. Tamil is the mother of all the Dravidian languages including Malayalam.

Sivakasi is in fact a good place to make similar paper rockets that are not that expensive and they work all the time. :D.

  • He pronounced "maruvai kaathal". But I think its "maruva kaathal". As a hariji's fan the song is superr. But as a good listener its just okay:-)

  • Love you hariji

  • sooo beautiful .......

  • Cheran Senguttuvan's brother Ilangovadigal wrote silappadihaaram in Tamil. Chera kings ruled from Kerala. I am not a linguist, but did malayalam exist then? This is a genuine query so please don't get worked up about it.

  • If he does not know how to read Tamil then Hariharan should probably write the song in Hindi so that he will not mess up the words like suthum for suttum etc.. All our great singers now are killing Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. I am not complaining about the pronunciation but they change the words and therefore the meaning.

  • @DanceTrisshuuDance more: Young maiden you are Kannamma I have fallen in love with you. You speak of prescribed conduct(sathiram), is there any sathiram for those who are burning with desire? With the permission of elders we will get married later. Will I wait till then so there will be a kiss on (my) cheek now. Bharathiyar considers Lord Krishna as a young woman here. There are other compositions where Krishna is his servant & as a child. Not suthum it is suttum Not vazhai it is valai.

  • @rarunadri thank you :)

  • @DanceTrisshuuDance Translation with disregard to English grammer:Kannamma! Are the effulgence from your burning (piercing) eyes, the sun and the moon? The dark round eyes - are tey the darkness of the sky? Your silky dark blue sari with sparkling diamonds are the shining stars in the mid night. Is your beautiful smile the brightness of the flowers in the garden? The waves in your heart are the ones in the blue sea. The sweetness in your voice is the enchanting cuckoo's sound. continued
