Why do you ask that?
Yes of course there was a crash, can't you see it on the video - there is no trick photography going on!

Part 3:
I find the design of one screw for the main wing mount to be a bit dodgy- Have you encountered problems? Same with the vertical stabilizer/fixed rudder fin.
I put a gyro (Its HH in rate mode) to help keep the ailerons more steady as its the first aileron plane I own, how stable is it? does it stall easily and roll over easily?
How fixable is it in the event of a light crash-not like yours!?
And obviously I'm using my own Tx (futaba FF7) .
Any advice much appreciated

The model is prone to wing tip stalling at slow speed turns Keep power on when turning and keep the turns smooth. Initial flights - full throw on elevator - 60% dual rate on ailerons- On full aileron throws - rolls are tight! GYRO on Airplane ????
Fixes easy with Foam 2 Foam glue. Tip: if you snap a flying surface rejoin with a few cocktail sticks (to add strength )glue & rejoin.
Your Futaba set will be fine. Hope this helps

Part 2:
3) My left aileron was warped a little and half of it droops a little down- will this be of any ACTUAL significance?
4)Also they are hinged with tape not proper hinges- could this have been the cause of your crash? Peeling off tape? Ideally they should be hinged balsa slabs.
5) I am worried it's underpowered as stock setup - can you confirm this is not the case? I can't find a tarmac strip near me nor nice short grass to take off. Is it handlaunchable?

5) Stock is fine Comments on RCM&E website Do not use larger capacity lipo's as they can fry the ESC. Aparently if you remove the wheels it is more stable in flight and that would suggest it is handlaunchable. Though I have never tried it! It will take off with a 40m run in about 1" of grass
Part3: Screw mount ok but after a few heavy landings the mount can compress the foam I have glued a strip of plastic to re enforce it(plastic pop bottle plastic is ok.
Aircraft stable even in light winds

Hi there! Mate sorry about the crash. You are a very good pilot and the vid was great. As this is a long post I have to make 2, this is part 1.
I just bought one of these- CML distribution, and I have some QS for you:
1) is that the stock setup you have? I bought the all in one package with the servos, Rx, motor, Tx, battery included. I found the servos to seem cheap- they strain a lot- even after trimming more foam for extra movement.
2)As the Rx is PPM does it have glitches?
Contd on Pt2

Hi Baz
Answers as possible by your NO's
1) Yes stock setup but changed RX & TX to Specktrum 2.4
2) I had glitches with supplied set nothing to drastic but did not instill confidence in supplied Radio
3)Yes but can be trimmed out. You can apply heat CAREFULLY! to take out warp if you wish.
4)No not crash cause. Tape is fine. Suspect may have had possible Radio lock out. It has been proved now that Specktrum 2.4 is not infallable. You have to watch voltage drop!
