Why is it only tiny cars I see getting mashed with this machine? Why not crush a full-sized pickup and record it?

ah the governments screwed. I couldnt sell ma old G reg fiesta after the head gasket went (making mayonaisse in the engine) So i didnt pay tax or declare sorn.
But nobody took that Piece of shite away even afterhalf a year! had to get it towwed.

No; if your car is found parked on a public highway without a valid tax disc on the windshield they will wheel-clamp it. If you don't pay they will come and take the car away and threaten your car with the crusher if you don't pay up. Usually however, they only crush cars with no road tax that also don't have an MoT test certificate for the year.

So let me get this stright, If you have a car and you dont pay your road tax they come to your house crush your car?!?!??!?!
They tryed to pull something like that hear in the U,S,A. If you car was over 20 years old you could not get tags for it and you had to pay to scrap it.

Well we are taxed to the hilt over here - we pay tax on everything.....a gallon of gasoline is nearly the equivalent of $7.50 largely because of fuel duty. The DVLA (the equivalent of the DMV in America) is the Government agency responsible for this car we'll-crush-your-car-if-you-do
n't-pay lark. Personally I think it's a bit heavy handed - especially since a lot of the cars they crush are perfectly servicable.....so much for conservation of resources!!!!

I think its as bad as the Natzis were taking a mans car and crushing it.I wonder when someone over there is gonna torch that old crusher some nite later that would give me a good chuckle indeed.Man the government every where is dirty and mean it just the way things are and its gonna get worse i gurantee.
