@thehoff1982 Yes, asshole. Kayfabe protected the business, and allowed them to present wrestling as real even when it wasn't. When Hogan left the ring, fans didn't say, "Hey, Terry, can I have your autograph?" They called him Hulk Hogan. Most fans don't refer to actors by their character names when they meet them. With wrestlers, though, they ARE the character to most fans, even today, and are referred to as such. Fuck you.

i guess people don't realise how stupid they sound when they say "its all fake you know"! would the same people watch a movie and say the same shit? i would be gutted if i found out that the james bond films are all choreograghed - its a real life documentary isn't it? lol
