The Thing - Blu 4 U (1991)

New Jersey's psychedelic warlords and leaders of the short lived NY 'Acid-Core' scene (informal as it was), The Thing unknowingly signaled the coming of 'Stoner Rock' with their sludged up 70's acid approach to NY noise rock. After breaking up, guitarist Sal Canzonieri went on to form the popular garage punk group, Electric Frankenstein.

This track, 'Blu 4 U' is from their fantastic Peel Sessions in 1991, produced by Mott The Hoople's Dale Griffin!
